About the Dress

I loved wearing this Theia Couture dress on my wedding day. Purchased from The Bridal Atelier in Armadale, I knew it was the right dress for our Byron Bay wedding straight away.

The dress has been dry cleaned by Syndal Bridal Dry Cleaning at Armadale and is in perfect condition. I have a 50% discount voucher to pass on with the dress.

The beading design is really intricate (it is hand beaded). I particularly liked the beading design under the bust, as it emphasizes the waist, and the flower design on the bottom of the dress. It is a glamorous dress!

The dress was really comfortable to wear and seems to run large in sizing. It has a lot of stretch in the fabric so even though I am normally a size 10 (top) and size 12 (bottom), I wore a US size 4. The dress will mold to whatever shape you are and is flattering whether you are curvy (like me) or not.

I had some minor alterations made: the hem was brought up a few centimetres and a bustle created so I could dance. I also had a minor adjustment made to the sleeves to stop them falling of my shoulders and inserted a bra loop to keep bra and dress together. These alterations were done at Parisima at Port Melbourne, as recommended by the Bridal Atelier.
