I fell in love with this dress as the nude / blush / white colour tones suited my skin tone much more than pure white and ivory based dresses. The stitching and white / pearl appliqué detail were so beautiful & intricate that it looked so natural on the dress. The fit was perfect, snug over the breasts and waist, but forgiving round the bum and thighs so thinking about how I’d move wasn’t a consideration in this dress which was really important to me. I was really drawn to the v-neck line, cap sleeves, low back and amazing tulle train to the side and back (as shown in pictures 7 & 8) and thought the latter in particular was something really different, as I’d not seen this on any other dress! It gave the dress a whimsical / romantic feel and made me think you didn’t need a veil / overskirt as the dress had so much on its own. I added a small thread hook at the back of the dress so the tulle trains could be clipped up to make it easier to dance in. In the end I opted for an overskirt as well as I liked the idea of having two looks and had always envisaged an A-line shape which the overskirt provided so I wore that for the ceremony and post ceremony drinks.

There are multiple layers to the skirt of the dress and in built cups around the breast area so the only area that is see through is the skin coloured bodice boat shaped neckline above the chest. Available to try on at Gillian Million, 34 High Street, Teddington, TW11 8EW.
