The Dress
The dress is stunning and was made to order and worn for a few hours. It comes professionally dry cleaned and neatly packed.
Featuring a voluminous satin skirt, it is the perfect contrast to the demure, modern cut of this ballgown's lace bodice.
The dress has been made with a Sweetheart neckline to ensure modesty through the bodice.
Alterations
I am a size 10 in the bust but had the dress altered in the waist and hips (more size 8 in this area). I am also quite tall (5”10) but the seamstress made the dress too short (so I couldn’t wear high heels, only a 6cm heel). This meant we took the petticoat out so the dress sat better. The dress still has plenty of length and can be shortened.
