The Dress

Silk/satin bodice and stretch crepe bottom wedding dress. It’s a light ivory dress, lined and incredibly lightweight. It needs a simple quick steam iron to get out any creases and manages easily.
The dress gives a really elegant and clean lined look. I felt a million bucks in it and was able to move around all night, dance and easily go to the toilet by myself! Simple zip up at the back with clasp. I am a 14 DD normally so did not opt for cups but there is plenty of room for cups to be added in. I am 178cm without heels and had lost a bit of weight so was around 70kgs here. I’m normally a 12 but with my boobs I’d say 14 tops for comfort and 10-12 bottoms. The dress says size 10 but I think that’s a 12-14 AU.
I bought this dress from The Bride Lab in Adelaide - it came with a bag but when I got it cleaned from my alterations lady she’d lost it and wrapped it in a sheet in a box for me. I’d be happy to source a bag if needed. I’d say it could go another round of cleaning before wearing on the day with a steam iron (after any alterations).
There is a small, lightweight train which you can see in photos - easy to hold and looks great when down. You can bustle (detail in alterations).
There are small scuff marks on the satin top near the boobs and shoulder from where people hugged me just looks like wear when up close (happy to send all the photos) but not noticeable from a distance.

I had the shoulders taken in about an inch as the body was quite long. I’m lucky being tall as I had barely anything taken from the hem/bottom so there’s a lot of fabric to work with. Would suit someone size 12 or 10 as you could really retrofit to your body. I had the hips taken in slightly to be more shapely for me as I have no bum. She brought it in slightly at the back to give me some shape which was a miracle!
We decided on a bustle for the train and you’ll see in photos there’s three small clear buttons. This made the train look and feel so clean and light when wearing it up I didn’t even notice it. With the one button, it was quite draggy.
