The Khaite Fabia Crisscross-Dress in Cream has a bias-cut front and a high-vented back, where the smooth crepe de chine straps cross. The dress is very soft, light and elegant.
I wore this recently for my rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding and received lots of compliments! It is very comfortable and airy, and is made from wave linen silk (86% linen, 14% silk lining). I'm 5'3" with no shoes on, and the dress hits me around the ankles (see photos).
The dress was dry-cleaned after the wedding and in great condition (no marks, stains or discoloration).
