Alterations

  • This dress was altered to fit a size 8-10 waist up the top (it was a large size 10)
  • The rest of the dress has a loose asymetrical princess like flow, so the bottom half can fit a range of lower body sizes
  • Great for any body type
  • The dress can easily be altered to be made bigger or smaller around the waist with panels and options to add some give or take
  • It could easily be altered to fit a size 12 upper body/waist
  • The bottom allows for a pear shaped body, or 'mismatch' in top and bottom sizing
  • I.e
  • it could fit a size 14-16 bottom because of the princess/asymmetrical flow
  • An ivory material lining was added under the dress to reduce the nude/beige undertone and give it more of an ivory tone
  • The lining was also added so the leg area is no longer see-through
  • The added lining can easily be reversed/removed if you would like it to be see-through as it was originally designed with the button up beige leotard underneath
  • The dress was also altered so the split is lower
  • The split now starts from just above the knee instead of high up on the thigh
  • This alteration can be reversed and the split can be made higher again if you wish
  • A bustle alteration was done with discreet ribbon ties to lift the train of the dress out of the way when you're done with photos and walking down the aisle
  • Simply tie the ribbons together on the back of the dress and the train when you're ready to dance/walk around more freely at the wedding reception

About the Dress

The stunning NATSUKO gown features floral lace appliques placed along the sweetheart neckline and off-the-shoulder straps (detachable). Layers of tulle, organza and floral lace create a grand skirt that is both sultry and sophisticated featuring a knee high split. The dress has a visible layer of glitter tulle throughout that glistens in the light; especially during the daytime and with direct lighting. The back features an invisible zipper, waist length buttons and a cascading tulle train.

The dress has an enchanted and ethereal look.

The above knee high split has a lace embroided tulle overlay.

The dress itself it very lightweight and east to wear/move around/dance in because of the tulle and organza materials.

The dress is very high waisted where the invisible button up 'corset-like' upper part it. The fitted mid riff waist is slightly see-through with tulle/organza, lace overlays, boning for structure and removable breast pads for support.

The bust can fit a B-DD cup and can easily be altered smaller if needed.

Worn once and recently professionally dry cleaned mid 2024 for $380, including the veil. Both the dress and veil are in immaculate condition. No wear and tear.

I am 167cm in height and the heels I wore with the dress were 9.5cm heel height.

The matching veil is a single layer of ivory tulle with a comb attachment and some ruching/gathering towards the top that creates a beautiful waterfall effect. It was made at 248.92cm long to match the length of the dress train and was also professionally dry cleaned. The veil is not an over the face veil, it's a single layer of tulle made to sit on the top, middle or lower part of your head with the comb depending on the hairstyle and length you wish it to be. The veil was altered to match the dress train length.

The train of the dress also has a bustle made of discreet ivory ribbon ties.
