Alterations
- Alteration Details:
- I purchased the dress in a Size AU 14 and had the dress altered only to the top to my waist measurements and slightly hemmed to skirt
- No other alterations to skirt measurements
- I have provided below for reference and can also send photos of measurements taken
- My measurements at time of alterations:
- BUST: 104cm
- LOWER BUST/RIBS: 82cm
- WAIST: 81cm (Smallest)
- HIPS: 112cm (Widest) No alterations made to skirt so it is as per size chart of NEWHITE size 14
- I fit into a size AUS 12-14 mostly
- I felt SNATCHED, but also SO comfortable
- The material is extremely flattering
- I wore nipple covers and seamless underwear underneath
- It wears and falls beautifully and the train is the perfect length
- My professional alterations consisted of:
- ~ Shortening the hem and lining slightly (with heels on) to the front of dress to avoid tripping/ damage
- ~ Taking in the top/ waist to my measurements
- ~ Adding a stronger hook and eye closure to the back above the zip
- ~ Adding a bustle with invisible clear button between inner layer and organza layer
- ~ Invisible hand loop added to organza layer
- + No alterations were made to the skirt size so it remains as per original size AU 14 and could be taken in as required if you are smaller size
- For anyone AU size 14- 12 and below, this dress would be perfect as it may either fit perfectly or you could take in further as required
- I am happy to answer any questions about the alterations
- Shoes & Height:
- I am 165cm tall and I wore 'Pink Inc - Secret, Ivory Fabric Sandals'
- The heel height is a 7cm heel
- I wore these for my alterations appointment for the measure of the hem height
- Total height 165cm + 7cm = 172cm
