This is a Jimme Huang dress, model Tracy, with original tags. I wore it to my own wedding in April 2024 and I loved it!

The Tracy is an a-line gown with a strapless v-neck and 2 inch waistband. The gown has a leg slit, which are great for easy movement and airflow. It also has pockets, which are seamlessly integrated into the skirt. They were awesome for holding my vows! The fabric is very similar to satin, but I think it’s technically Dupioni. A line of buttons go down the entire back, but it has a hidden zipper closure so it’s quite easy to put on and take off.

I got it in size 8 (I’m a street size US 2 or 4). I had a few professional alterations made so that it fit me better. I had the bust taken in a little, a hem, a four-point bustle, and bra cups sewn in (which could easy be removed). All of the measurements listed reflect the dress after alterations. The alterations were done with utmost care. The bustle is not detectable while it’s not configured, which I really appreciated.

The most notable alteration was a design change to the neckline. It is not quite a sweetheart, but close. I maintained the v-neck plunge. The dress originally had a pointed neckline, which you can see if you Google “Jimme Huang Tracy dress”.

I only wore it for my ceremony and beginning of reception. I had it dry cleaned within a week of the wedding and professionally preserved in a wedding gown box.
