About the Dress

THE DRESS
My dress was made for me by Caroline Versallion in Bedfordshire.
Caroline is a great designer and impeccable seamstress - the dress is beautifully constructed.
I felt gorgeous and comfortable throughout my wedding day and didn't have to wear a bra despite my ample chest - I even had a ceilidh and jumped about to 90s house music!
There is an incredible inner corset that laces up with ribbon to ensure you are snug and secure.
The dress then closes with an invisible zip and hook and eye hiding beneath a row of stunning hand-covered buttons. (I can share a video of how to do the dress up properly).
It is made of beautiful textured silk, fully lined, and has pockets!

SIZE
I am a size 14 to 16 on top and 16 on the bottom.
My bra size is 36DD.
The dress is tea length on me (see photos). I'm 165cm tall and my wedding heels were 8cm.
It's 105cm long.
I can take any additional measurements you would like.
Just let me know.

I wore beautiful shoes in the day and Converse pumps later on and both looked fab.
I have had it dry-cleaned recently (I can share a picture of the dry cleaning receipt. I went to a proper bridal dry cleaner and it cost £70).

I didn't have a videographer, so this video is an amalgamation of videos my friends took on their phones, but hopefully gives you a sense of how the dress moves and stays up despite a lot of jumping around.

WHY AM I SELLING IT?
I'm selling as realistically I'm never going to wear it again and believe someone else could have an amazing wedding in it.
It is exceptional value considering the quality of the materials and construction.
