Alterations

  • I paid an extra $650 to get the hem taken up a few cm's and the waist taken in slightly
  • Overall it fits the bust so much better and the back fits more snug
  • I felt that there was no way of my bust becoming exposed so zero need for hollywood tape which is what I was after
  • I also had the split taken up ever so slightly too just by a few cm's
  • It fit me perfectly and I was beyond happy with the results
  • In my opinion it completely elevated the dress
  • Lastly I did get the thin back strap of the dress removed
  • I wanted an exposed backless dress so made the decision to remove it entirely
  • This does not affect the way the dress sits or how it stays in place by any means
  • And I’m sure it would be a very easy job to reattach something similar if that’s what you were after

About the Dress

I wore the beautiful Goldie for my wedding in December 2024, the dress arrived on my doorstep May 2024.
It is marked XS, however this would fit a range of sizes from standard AU size 4 through to size 8.

It has been hand washed only and steamed. It looks a million bucks with no noticeable stains/marks.
There is however a very small makeup stain on the inside of the dress near the bust area which did not come out. This absolutely cannot be seen from the outside. There is also the smallest stain at the very end of the train, again completely unnoticeable! So much so it doesn't even come out in a picture.

I felt so unbelievably glamorous in this dress! It was so comfortable and you have the ability to tie the bottom of the train into the neck tie with a small loop that is sewn on to the very bottom of the train.

It saddens me that I'm selling this dress but she deserves to be apart of the magic that is another wedding, instead of being placed in a cupboard for years to come.
