Lena gown from Carolina Herrera (2020) - a perfect V-neck silk faille ballgown with floral thread work embroidery (and pockets!).

This dress is from one of the last bridal collections from the Carolina Herrera label. I bought it in 2023 and wore it in Fall 2024.

This is such a dream dress -- simple, perfect, and beautiful!
With the classic V-neck front/back, clean lines, and structured floor-length A-line skirt, I found this to be incredibly gorgeous, flattering, fun, and picture-perfect. The embroidery also makes the dress very unique and timeless.
The skirt has three layers of horsehair with a beautiful train.

I loved this dress so much and would love for it to help make another bride's wedding day!

Additional Size Info & Measurements:
- Size: This dress is a size 8. I usually wear a dress size 6 (sometimes 8) or Petite Medium, and shirt size S. The skirt will allow for a variety of pant sizes (I'm generally 8/10).
- Length from top strap to bottom of gown (front): 58"
- From shoulder to shoulder: 14.5"
- From top of shoulder strap to bottom of neckline: 13.5"
The measurements listed in the Still White description are based on Carolina Herrera's sizing chart. My measurements at the time of my wedding were approximately: Bust 36.5", Waist 32", Hips 41"

Cleaning: I bought this dress new and had the dress cleaned by a Brooklyn-based dry cleaner and fine gown care specialist, who has been awarded The Knot's Best of Weddings award twice.

Alterations

I had some simple alterations done by an excellent seamstress (she is the most recommended in NYC by major wedding boutiques + was recommended to me by several friends, and even by the shop where I bought this dress in Chicago)
Skirt hemmed by just over 4" (front only) -- I am 5' 2.5” and my heels were 2.5" (note: hem was hand-stitched is becoming loose after wear/cleaning - this will need to be reinforced, if you are not hemming it for yourself)
Shoulder straps raised by 1.3"
Darts in breasts (sewn to be easily undone -- and carefully done so as not to disrupt any embroidery)
Handloops sewn under the skirt and on the layers of horse hair -- I was able to hold the dress up to dance, walk, etc
and did not bustle the skirt
One additional note: Dress cleaner left one mark inside the left shoulder - will make no difference on your wedding day! But I do want to give full information
