This timeless classic by Essense of Australia captured my heart the moment I tried it on. The mikado satin has a soft shine, and the gown flows beautifully. It has just a bit more volume than an a-line silhouette (to make you feel like a true princess) but not as over-the-top as other ballgowns. The corset back allows for a perfect fit, and the boning and hidden bra-strap inside made me super comfortable and confident it would stay up all day.
It also features gorgeous silk buttons all down the back of the skirt and super practical pockets (the dream!!).
Versatile to be styled for so many different themes and venues depending on your accessories - I wanted the option of some embellishment, so added an embroidered floral veil.
I've had the dress professionally cleaned and boxed up - ready to pass on to another bride who will feel as beautiful and special as I did!
