About the Dress

Brand New Galia Lahav “Tali” Wedding Dress – Never Worn, Never Tried On

Shortly after purchasing my dream dress, I had to make the difficult decision to cancel my wedding. That means this stunning Galia Lahav Tali gown that was picked up in October 2024 is brand new, never altered, never even tried on. It's still in its original garment bag – untouched and waiting for its bride.

✨ Please note: The photos are of me in the sample dress at the boutique. My actual dress – the one for sale – is even more beautiful. It's the same design in ivory, and comes with a custom-added inner linen skirt for modesty (so it’s not sheer like the one I’m wearing in the pictures).

I first discovered this dress thanks to a photo of @hannahcdavis (the lady in the cover photo) that stopped me in my tracks on Instagram. The moment I saw her in it, I booked an appointment at Galia Lahav without hesitation. And when I tried on the sample dress in person, I knew it was the one. I placed my order on the spot.

I chose this dress with care. I have extremely sensitive skin and usually avoid tulle altogether, assuming it would be scratchy or uncomfortable. But this gown changed my mind – the fabric is soft, airy, and surprisingly gentle. I was immediately struck by how weightless and comfortable it felt, even with the dramatic train (which can be altered if you prefer a shorter length). It made me feel sexy, elegant, and truly like a bride.

The theme of my wedding was going to be a “whimsical garden,” so I wanted something ethereal, romantic, and light – this dress captured all of that and more. It’s perfect for both outdoor and church weddings, and the sleeves can be made detachable for a second look or extra flexibility.

I had originally hoped to keep this dress for a future wedding, but as I prepare to begin law school, I know it’s wiser to let it go. I hope it brings joy to someone else who sees it and falls in love just like I did. It’s more than just a dress – it’s a fresh start, full of beauty and possibility.
