The Story

Fusing sexiness, with all the right classic, sophisticated details, the Valentina perfectly encapsulates the GLL bride. Our Valentina gown is for the woman who wants a traditional dress, but with chic, modern touches.

The Valentina, a favourite of the GLL team, features a flattering shape, beginning with a semi-fitted lace bodice with longer line, t-shirt sleeves and straight edge lining, for a contemporary feel. We love the open back with a double satin button closure and artfully placed lace motifs. The dramatic, full circle skirt has been handmade with 10 metres of Italian silk chiffon and a high side split adorned with French eyelash lace. The Valentina is the only dress in our collection with a skirt of this kind.

I'm 5'6 1/2" and I wore 4" high heels. I wore the sticky bra cups and they worked really well.

It has been cold hand washed, drip dry, and cool ironed. It comes in original dust bag and Grace Loves Lace Box.

I loved this dress!!! I would've stayed in it forever! I got so many compliments! It was very comfortable too. Worn for only a few hours as I knew I wanted to re-sell it.

I added three tiny hooks in the back so the back of the dress wasn't dragging around while I was dancing! There is no rips or wholes in a dress, however, I noticed a few little snags on it. Generally speaking, the dress is in excellent condition. It's been hand washed and steamed and is ready to wear again! It's very stretchy too.
