"East is cut into a halter silhouette, which frames and flatters your shoulders beautifully. The bold detailed twist lace has sinuous curves which envelop the body at flattering angles and hug the figure beautifully. Drama is emphasised with a sienna lining, and directional change of the lace. Full circle skirt flares out from low hip, which uses plush tassels to highlight the full skirt."

Since sharing the photos of my elopement, I've had countless messages from family and friends (including men) saying that this dress is the most beautiful wedding dress they've ever seen. I felt incredible wearing it. The silk and spandex lining has a breathable and stretchy fit, and it felt light and very comfortable (even after the post-wedding feast).

I only wore the dress for three hours. There are no defects; it is in pristine condition, and has been dry-cleaned by a professional bridal specialist. It comes boxed with preserving tissue paper, and includes:
- Armband tassels (my biceps measure 27 cm)
- Original labels
- Alteration details and drawings, including 7-loop bustle for dancing
- Left over fabrics from hem alteration; hem can be let down again if necessary
- Contact details of seamstress who did the alterations

Alterations

Added bustle with 7 loops (alteration drawings can be provided on request)
Hem has been taken up (double rolled, so can be taken down); I am 168 cm tall without shoes
I wore flat ballet shoes on the day
Back straps have been taken in at the side seams, but the excess has been left intact so it can be let down again if necessary
Additional lining piece on the chest, which can easily be removed if new owner prefers a shear appearance
Armbands were taken in to fit my bicep (27 cm)
Excess tassels were kept if these need to be made longer
