The dress took a dip in the Mediterranean during our wedding rehearsal dinner, but it has since been professionally dry cleaned TWICE (once after the ocean, once after our post wedding shoot), and stored in its original garment bag in a cool, dark place. There are a few faint marks on the inside lining of the train that didn’t come out in cleaning, but they’re not visible when worn. I removed the original straps to make it a strapless gown for a cleaner, more modern silhouette, and had it hemmed for 4-inch heels (I’m 5'4" without heels).

The gown is a size 34 (UK 4 / US 0) and fits true to size per Galia Lahav’s chart. I had some incredible photos taken in it—by the same photographer who shot Millie Bobby Brown’s wedding! It’s time for another bride to enjoy this beauty. Just note it’s not in perfect condition, and the price reflects that. This dress has been in the ocean, and still photographed beautifully (the last two photos were taken post-swim a few months after our wedding).

Alterations

I had both cups smoothed out (they weren’t sitting right initially), the shoulder straps secured to the dress for a cleaner look (they were uneven and quite messy), and the back zipper/hooks redone to remove bulk and bumps (hooks were initially showing)
The hem was also adjusted for my height: 5'4" with 4-inch heels
