The dress has never been altered. The dress was very snug on me and would fit a slimmer person beautifully. Either way, you can't lose with the shape and lines of this dress. Bridal gowns typically run 1-2 sizes smaller than regular street wear. The strings in the back make it extremely adjustable. I had originally planned a summer wedding, but we ended up having a winter wedding, so I paired it with a lovely fur coat.
