The Avril Gown is inspired by brave, bold, daring women.
It has an all-overdramatic Cornelli Lace, with placements designed to flatter the figure from all angles. Cut out details on the train, sleeves, low back, full skirt, and train.

The silk/spandex slip is ivory and has the most amazing cut with a plunging neckline and front split. I added bra cups that are removable.

When I discovered the Avril Gown I knew it was "the dress." I tried it on in a shop but found it on Still White as I had always planned to buy a second-hand dress for my wedding day. I liked that the dress had already been worn and had a story!

The previous brides created a journal to go with the dress to keep track of the beautiful brides who got to wear it. I will be sending my story along to!

The dress fit me perfectly, so no alterations were needed to the size (see minor alterations listed below).

Dry Cleaned
- Stain on the slip by the 2nd Bride Kim (but cannot see when lace dress is over the top) VERY MINOR
The dress has been professionally dry-cleaned and is in good condition. The lace towards the hem of the outer garment has some slight discolouration, which is only noticeable upon close inspection.
The slip had stains from the flower petals on the ground during her Bali ceremony and couldn't come out in the dry cleaning.

3rd bride:
1. Small snag on bottom outside lace, repaired and so not noticeable it took me several minutes to find the fix. I have photos.
2. Bra cups added to slip that are removable.

3. Slip has a small snag in the front just at the split which I had repaired. This is not noticeable with the over lace.

I've have reduced the overall price due to this, for the cost of another slip underneath the dress if this is a major issue. I can send photos of the slip and dress on request.

Note: I wanted an eco conscious second hand dress and understand it has been worn and has 3 beautiful stories. This dress has a lot of stores left in it and should not sit unworn in a closet.
