Jenny Yoo, Alouette

What a gorgeous gown this is! I chose this dress for the unique and beautiful lace top, and especially for the silk-chiffon skirt that moves so beautifully, especially when walking (down the aisle!) or dancing. I loved wearing this dress, and I would love for someone else to get to enjoy it, too!

I had the dress professionally cleaned right after I wore it, and it has been stored in protective plastic inside of its original garment bag ever since (I just took it out for the first time to take these photos).
On the backside of the dress, there are a few small and/or light colored blemishes here and there (see video), but because of the fullness of the skirt’s volume, nothing is noticeable unless you’re looking up close. There is a small tear in the hem (see photo) that is also hardly noticeable. There are no major or obvious flaws.

After storage, the silk-chiffon does need to be steamed (I steamed it the morning of the day I wore it), but it does not wrinkle during normal wear.

The wings are attached with tiny hooks that are secure when they are in place, but are quick and easy to remove if you’d like.

The inner skirt is so silky, and felt very comfortable and dreamy to wear. I had the train part of it removed for the sake of weight and to allow more movement of the outer skirt’s train. I also had a bustle added (see video).

I paid about $2800 for the dress (with tax on top of that) and about $800 for the alterations.

I am 5’9” and wore the dress barefoot for the ceremony (on the beach), and I wore cute flat sandals for the reception. The gown was long enough to have my feet covered.

Apologies for the poor lighting in my apartment! The lower part of the dress in the photos/video is the true color white.
