Jennifer Regan, Shoe string dress

This classic and chic Shoe String Dress by renowned Sydney designer Jennifer Regan is perfect for a bride looking for low key elegance. I bought this dress and then made a different decision (based on an unfortunate venue change), so it’s never actually made it down the aisle! It’s been hanging in my wardrobe in wait of a new home and due to babies turning up in the years since, I haven’t got around to posting it here.
It’s a sheath style skirt, with a little bit of flare to it. It hugs your curves beautifully and the bodice nips in your waist like a dream. There are cups to help with your bust and the buttons on the back are chef’s kiss divine! The back is medium to low - so you don’t feel exposed but still feels like enough skin.
There is a tiny bit of yellowing under the arms (see photo), from trying this gown on. It’s so tiny, but I didn’t feel right not mentioning it. Nothing a clean wouldn’t fix, or you would never see it once on.

It’s got a perfect little train moment at the rear, but nothing too cumbersome.

All in all - I loved this dress as it was just the perfect amount of everything, bust, back and train and was just so effortlessly chic.

With some years in between you’ll notice my husband couldn’t do up the top three buttons… I blame breastfeeding boobs!

Waist - 68cm
Hips - 95cm

I’m 6 foot and wearing no shoes in the photo, so it’s beautiful and long and easy to modify if needed!
