A unique, ivory silk chiffon bias ruffle A-line bridal gown with strapless draped bodice, natural waist accented with floral crystal detail, and a sweep train. From Jim Hjelm’s Spring 2011 collection, Style JH8105.

The dress has an ethereal feel in how it moves and fits the body. It is so soft and comfortable. Every time I put on the dress, I didn’t want to take it off!

After a wedding in Minnesota and a reception in Germany, I had it professionally cleaned and a small tear repaired by a shop that specializes in bridal gowns.

My husband and I have been happily married now for over 10 years and it's time for another bride to wear this special dress!

The dress was a sample, so I had it professionally cleaned and fit to a size 4
Chiffon straps were added, and I switched out the original floral silver detail on the waist for several smaller chiffon flowers with crystals (as shown in the photos)
