The dress is in excellent used condition. I had it professionally cleaned in 2014 after it was worn. It has been in safe storing conditions since, a garment bag that allows for air circulation in a cedar closet.

I fell in love with the style of the dress. I wanted something close fitting to my body, without it being clingy. I loved how flattering the narrow skirt was and the removable train added drama and felt bridal and grand. I wore it in December and I thought the mock neck was lovely for the season, although the sleeveless could accommodate a year-round date. It reminded me of Grace Kelly's wedding dress with the banded waist and narrow skirt in the front and a larger volume skirt from the back. It was easy to wear and I look at the photos with joy.

I had it altered to fit more narrow in the waist. I am an hourglass shape, an inch was taken in. I had it shortened, I am 5ft 2in and I wore 3 in heels and it just touched the floor. The detachable skirt can be bustled or removed. The dress itself can be bustled as well, it is very small in comparison. There are beautiful functional buttons down the back.
