This custom altered Mahogany dress by Tania Olsen was a dream for my wedding. I felt equal parts classic, princess and beautiful.
The original comes with a scooped neckline but I wanted that sharp modern square set with thinner straps front and back. Button detailing down the entire train, and an additional little belt. In hindsight, I wish I stitched this in but a tip for you! 😊
When I purchased, the Dress was $2150 and alterations were $1000 but made the dress perfect! Plus a $500 professional dry-clean. So there is over $3500 worth of value in this dress. If you love the style and want a custom look, fit and feel but don’t want to pay for and have the stress of alterations - this is for you!
I am 158cm tall, and wore 9.5cm heels.
I was in between a 6-8 in the dress sizes, so purchased the 8 and had it altered in slightly. .
