Pronovias, Geiranger Pronovias -White Strapless Wedding Dress

This Pronovias wedding dress was the perfect wedding dress for me! It is extremely flattering and well made. The structured bodice has an underlying, corset-type clip in, so that the dress stays up and in place perfectly. I danced all night and felt no slipping. The dress is very easy to get on, as the back appears to have many little buttons, but actually it has a hidden zipper to zip you in.

This dress has an amazing long train for the ceremony, that I then put up in a French bustle for dinner and dancing. The dress has a tool underskirt to give it some volume. Even with those components, the dress did not feel overly heavy or hard to walk in. I felt beautiful, secure, and elegant in this dress and spent many hours on the dance floor with no issues.

I got the dress professionally cleaned so it's still vibrant, white, and looks brand new. It is currently stored in the cleaner-provided protective packaging and they gave me white gloves for handling it. On the wedding day, the dress was easy to steam with a hand-held steamer and cheese cloth, so even after storing in a garment bag for a couple of weeks, the creases came out flawlessly.

While overall the dress is in amazing condition as it was only worn on the one wedding day, the middle French bustle thread loop did break off by the end of the night. This did not cause any visual or structural issues to the dress, but if you'd like to bustle it, the only repair necessary would be to add back in a middle French bustle thread loop. The mini, hidden buttons remain on the underskirt which can still be utilized and a professional tailor should have no issues fixing that up. If you choose not to do a French bustle, you can't even see the threads or buttons because they are purposefully tiny and hidden to not appear in any photos and not to be seen visually.

I loved this dress and any bride would be so lucky to wear it on their big day! It made me feel extremely special and I hope I can pass that gift on to someone else, rather than have this dress sit in my closet.
