Because this dress is an overlay, the style is very versatile. It can be dressed up with layers, or, depending on what you wear underneath it can be dressed WAY down :) I wore knee-high, lace-up, cognac colored boots and stunning ivory and gold Bordelle lingerie with visible garters... The dress that I wore underneath it was custom made and is a simple, short, double layered silk dress in a light golden white hue. I may be including this dress with the purchase. It cost me $800.00 AUD to have the dress custom-made. I've adjusted the price accordingly, I am flexible.

I'm sort of just feeling this whole thing out. I think wedding dresses are ridiculously expensive, but it IS a major event, and designer clothes are expensive in general... I also feel that this item is so lightly used that it's practically brand-new, and it is reasonable to ask for a generous return on the investment. I bought it with this in mind, consciously deciding to buy a gown that I would not be keeping after one wear. I splurged on the dress I wanted, knowing that I would resell. This in mind, I am relatively flexible and I understand selling/buying a wedding dress is an intimate thing, so let's talk!

I wore the two dresses the ceremony, (which itself only took about 45 minutes). Afterward, I wore the silk dress on its own, with the garters and a beautiful kimono and the boots, which I am also selling, they are Free Bird by Steven Madden and looked amazing with the silk dress, as well as with the overlay. If you are a size 10 feel free to inquire about them! They were quite small for me, which is why I'm selling, so I reckon if you're a 9 they would be comfortable with insoles, or if you are a 9 1/2 or 10 they may work as well.

Included Accessories
I am not necessarily including accessories, I can include the headpiece in a matching lace if you would like, I would not charge much for it. As I mentioned before, this dress is SO versatile. Belts and long skirts could be added to dress it up. Bodysuits, lingerie, or a tiny dress could be worn to play it down and enhance the beauty of the sheer factor. I am selling the boots that I wore and can refer you to the Bordelle lingerie that made it so special. I have an antique genuine pearl necklace I am including as a special gift. :)

Dry Cleaning/Preservation
As I had intentions of selling, the overlay was only worn for a couple hours and was dry cleaned by a specialist immediately afterward.

This dress is a standard 10 with some minor alterations to widen the arm holes and bring in the breast area a bit so it was less open. There is a tiny invisible snap added to the breast area since it's a wrap, to keep things in place. We also added an invisible hook so the tail doesn't drag on the ground. I would recommend getting minor alterations if needed! it's a very simple design and was very easy to make the adjustments to, the little that I did I feel improved the design.
