This was my beautiful wedding dress that I had customised and altered to create a more vintage, English tea party look.

Description - Charlotte Balbier Alice dress, delicate lace with floral and small polkadots over satin. Fishtail design with small 'puddle' train. Deep V front and back with sheer lace covering satin spaghetti straps. Cryrstal buttons on the back to conceal a zip fastening. White in colour and looks amazing in all lights for photos. The dress will come with a Jupon fishtail petticoat which I bought second hand. For a size guide - I wore flat pumps and am 5'9 so heels would be good for smaller than this height and there is lots of room for it to be shortened.

Alterations - I had padded cups inserted into the bra cups but these can be easily removed. I also has the entire shape of the bra area changed from the original Alice design - so the straps were longer and the cups were smaller. This was to make the lace feature more prominent and pretty. I had the entire lace removed of small crystals which were on the original design - this gives the dress the vintage look and I found it maintained the matte colour on photographs rather than the crystals catching the light and creating a 'glare'. The dress was a size 12 and I had it taken in to a size 8 around the chest and waist and a 10 around the hips and waist - it can be taken in or let out again.
