Leah Da Gloria, Valkyrie

No one does a fitted bodice like Leah Da Gloria! Her construction is exquisite! Fabric is a beautiful silk organza. Basque waist and super high slit (can be tacked closed if preferred). This dress was so romantic and elegant for my big day, I couldn’t have loved it more. I hope someone else can get as much love from it as I did. I purchased a size 10 (which was equivalent to a typical size 6) and did some minor alterations: • lowered the back so it dipped into a V (to match the V of the basque waist in the back) • waist was taken in slightly (1”) but it can be taken back out if you needed to (I have a 27-28” waist depending on the day) • hemmed to match my height with heels (5 foot 10 inches) • had a little bit of horse hair put under the gown at my hips on either side (hardly noticeable) this was so the dress didn’t lay limp at my hips. It can be taken it out easily if you wish • has a French bustle (although I never used it) and also 3 wrist hooks under the skirt of the dress so you can carry the train comfortably around your wrist (this is what I found more comfortable) Train is roughly 6 feet long. I’m typically a 32D, 27-28” waist and 40” hip (although hip measurement doesn’t matter much for this gown). Has been professionally dry cleaned at a specialized bridal dry cleaning boutique which costed an additional $775. The dress has no damages and is in excellent condition.
