This beautifully designed dress was handmade in NZ - by the A La Robe designer, Elizabeth Soljak.

When looking for that 'perfect' dress in Sydney Bridal Shops, I was alarmed at by how many dresses in the boutiques came from an order in China via a mass production machine. This was not my style nor did it sit with my comfort level for what I wanted to wear on my wedding day.

I wanted something unique, that had a touch a french lace.
I wanted something elegant and timeless so I could look back on my pictures and know that the style did not change with the era.
I wanted something sexy that was easy to move in - where I could be comfortable in all my photos and throughout the evening.

All my wants were met with this dress.

If only I could get married all over again to wear it.

The dress was tailored to have a bustle.
