The Rue De Seine Chloe Gown was the second dress that I tried on and I instantly fell in love. I was looking for a dress that was not only elegant, flattering and unique but also something that I could feel comfortable in all day / night long. This is the one! I couldn’t have been happier with this gown and I hope that the next bride that wears it feels the same way that I do about it. It was purchased at Lovers Land in Toronto, ON.
Details: CHLOE GOWN- YOUNG LOVE COLLECTION : Cotton embroidered long sleeve gown with button detail at sleeve hem. Form fitting silhouette with a full hem and high neck and keyhole back. Full length with a train, bias cut slip included. See more at :http://ruedeseine.com/product/chloe-gown/
I had the dress hemmed, the waist taken in slightly and the sleeves shortened slightly. I had the tags removed as they were visible when I had the dress on but I have all of the tags and receipts from the purchase and alterations. All of the alterations were done by a well known custom garmet designer and seamstress in Toronto.
The dress was cleaned right after my wedding by a specialized drycleaner with expertise in cleaning wedding gowns. She did a fantastic job and the dress looks just like new! The only small discolouration (as seen in the photos) is on the back of the silk slip close to the ground and is covered by the lace overlay. I have the dress in the original garmet bag with the original hanger.
