The Design

The Rene is the ultimate "cool girl" wedding dress. Known for its clean, architectural square neckline and incredible body-sculpting fit, it is a Sarah Seven masterpiece. This version is crafted in the sought-after Waffle Mikado, a lightweight fabric with a stunning honeycomb texture that provides structure and a modern, high-fashion edge.

Condition & Customization (The "Fix")

This gown is an unaltered boutique sample priced at a 75% discount due to an extensive horizontal fabric pull on the back of the skirt (see detailed photos).

While the bodice is in excellent condition, the pull on the skirt requires a creative touch. This is a rare opportunity to own a $6,000 gown and work with a seamstress to create a "one-of-a-kind" bespoke version.

Recommended Fixes:

The Statement Bow: Add an oversized, structured Mikado or Satin bow at the back. This is a classic look and will completely hide the pull while adding a dramatic design element.

Lace/3D Appliqué: A seamstress can "vine" floral lace or 3D petals over the area. This transforms the minimalist gown into a romantic custom piece.

You may also be able to create a fold or patch over the pull to disguise its appearance. Please do consult with a seamstress because there are more solutions than you think!
