Divine Atelier, Sara

Custom Divine Atelier 100% silk Sara Dress. The original Sara design comes with a slit, and I opted for a skirt without which is taken from the Leya dress, the dress is still a dress however, it is not detachable. It fastens with buttons down the corset, and meets a zip for the skirt section, as opposed to buttons all the way down. The dress has a inbuilt bustle for at night to lift the bottom of the skirt.

Height with wedding heels: 177cm (171 normally)

No formal adjustments made to the bodice,
I added removable padding at the bust area which has been tacked in and can be removed, it is not formally sewn in.

Measurements:

Waist 26 inches (the dress has an internal corset to pull you in)

Front seam from waist to hem: 118cm
Rear seam from waist to hem: 147.5cm

Dress condition:

The dress has been professionally dry cleaned via Morgan Davies (where I purchased it) by a specific silk dry cleaner. The dresses bodice and upper skirt are near perfect, with non visible tiny blemishes that you honestly cannot see. The train has more noticeable discolouration at the very base, we unfortunately didn’t have kind weather so it did take on some water at the very bottom. The cleaner has done a remarkable job at minimising this, but I want to be honest that is is there. I’ve uploaded a closer up and a more distant to show that it is not that visible when the dress is viewed as a whole, but close up on the skirt you can see it. The dress is very pearlescent silk so it is extremely forgiving on marks as it reflects brilliant light. Happy to share more photos in depth marks.
