Halfpenny London, Esme Dress

I absolutely loved wearing this dress on my wedding day. Its from Halfpenny London and was altered slightly to fit my measurements. It has a boned corset which I added two more bone elements to the sides so it gives extra stability to the strapless top and was super comfortable wearing for my whole wedding day until late at night. The dress is beautifully embroidered tulle and has a full circle skirt which makes it flow beautifully especially when walking and dancing as well as eating and drinking was a breeze and not restrictive at all ( I was not a bride to only have nibbles to fit my dress).

Our wedding was outside with a ceremony in a hilly grass field so the front was slightly shortened to be just above floor length (I am 1,63 cm and wore Bella Belle Reina open toe 4 inch heels) and the seamstress added a very smart 5-loop design to tie up the train that then seamlessly hides into the dress to be all around floor length which makes it perfect to dance later in the evening.

There is a tiny scratch in the train (about 5mm) where a wedding guest stepped onto the train which I did not fix and cannot really be seen when wearing but could also be sewn up with two stitches easily.

Worn once on my wedding day 2025 and dry cleaned the week after.
