I felt absolutely incredible in this stunning House of Nicholas wedding dress — truly the dress of my dreams — and I hope it makes another bride feel just as special.

The dress is labelled as a size 20, but I am typically a size 18. It was professionally altered at the shoulders, waist, and hem to achieve a flattering fit.

Dress Details

* Plain tulle layered over glitter tulle for a subtle sparkle
* Beautiful appliqué on the bodice, skirt, and sleeves
* Embellished with sequins, bugle beads, and beading on the front bodice
* Ribbon and boning create the illusion of a corset-style bodice
* Medium-width train for an elegant finish

Bespoke Alterations

I added custom detailing to the back of the dress to provide a little extra coverage and confidence, as the original back was quite plain. This bespoke addition transformed the dress and made me feel even more comfortable and beautiful on the day.

Condition

The dress is in excellent condition overall. It has not yet been professionally dry-cleaned, so I would recommend having this done before wearing. There is one small hole in the front skirt, which should be straightforward for a seamstress to repair.

Included Veil

Also included is a matching 3-metre veil, which complemented the dress perfectly. The veil originally cost £200.

I’m very sad to part with this dress, but it deserves to be worn and loved again rather than stored away. It made me feel amazing, and I’m sure it will do the same for its next bride.
