Vera Wang, Bouquet

This Vera Wang Luxe Bouquet dress was worn in 2013. It was purchased from a New York Saks Fifth Avenue Sample Sale. The front bodice had a slight snag in it. I took it to Madame Paulette so the tulle on the bodice could be fully restored. The tulle was from the Vera Wang Boutique in NY.

It was altered to a street size 2. Waist: 26” Bust: 34B I am 5’ 5” and wore a 3 inch heel so it was hemmed to these alterations. They added a bustle as well as button cover for the back zipper.

Shortly after the wedding, I cleaned and preserved the dress but they must not have done a thorough job. There were some hidden white wine stains on the dress. Fast forward to today, the stains oxidized. I went to a professional cleaner who specializes in wedding dress stain removal and preservation. He could not completely remove the stains. In full transparency, I have pictures of the stains on the front of the dress.

The cleaner’s recommendation was to cut off the stained lace pieces. Nobody will know the difference due to the layers and volume of lace on this dress.

As shown in the pictures, I will include the ivory sash and a Vera Wang cathedral veil with the price of this dress.

This dress is a Vera Wang strapless modified A-line with a fused lace skirt from the LUXE collection. The skirt is a blend of Alencon, Chantilly and Battenberg laces on French tulle and is embellished with floating floral embroidery (all hand done). It is a timeless, GORGEOUS gown! Ideal for the bride that wants to look elegant and sophisticated yet simple.
