I purchased this beautiful Dimitria gown as a sample when the designer retired and wore it for my wedding in February 2012. It is an amazing vintage style gown which is timeless and was so comfortable to wear. It is a silk, sheath style dress with beaded lace cap sleeves and beaded lace panels down either side of the very low back. There is fine pleating and beaded lace across the hip and this pleating is reproduced at the bust and at the lower back. The train is a medium length which bustled nicely for our dance (and in fact I left it bustled after that because it was easier!)

After purchase, I had a couple of the beaded straps across the back lengthened slightly and some additional beaded lace applied by the designer herself. The length of the dress wasn't changed at all (as I am quite tall). The veil I wore was designed for the dress, however I had it altered slightly to make it a little shorter and shaped around the jaw line at the front. The veil sits to one side down the back of the dress so as not to obscure the beautiful detail of the back of the dress and it goes down almost to the floor. I wore the veil for the ceremony and then a beautiful beaded hair piece for the rest of the day.
*As far as I am aware, the designer is still willing to do alterations and I can give the purchaser her details if required.

The dress is currently being dry cleaned and I will be picking it up on 14/4/2012, so the dress will be available to try on from this date forward. Please, only arrange a try on if you are absolutely genuine and know that the dress is likely to fit. I am usually a size 6-8 up the top (quite small busted) and 8-10 down the bottom. I am 176cm tall (and wore 7cm heels), 32/82cm hip, 31/79cm bust (I did not wear a bra with this dress).
