This Violeta dress by Yolan Cris is a timeless piece. The A-line silhouette perfectly flattered my figure, creating a romantic and elegant vibe. The ivory cheesecloth crepe fabric feels luxurious, draping beautifully while providing the perfect balance of comfort and style.
Great for pear or hourglass shapes as the hips are free size. The skirt is just layers and layers and layers. A bustle was incorporated to lift up the layers and make it easier to walk in. Swiss dot mesh adorns the shoulder area and sleeves. Glass bead buttons at the back, and white small covered buttons at the front.
The sheer neckline adds a hint of ethereal charm, accentuated by long sleeves that give it a sophisticated touch reminiscent of the 1880's-1890's. This dress collection was inspired by the Spanish painter Joaquin Sorolla's beach paintings. Sorolla was a friend of my ancestor, Sweden's most famous painter Anders Zorn, so to wear a dress inspired by this painter was an amazing experience.
Beading and Swarovski crystals are meticulously placed on the bottom sleeves, and across the chest, catching the light and adding a subtle sparkle as I walked down the aisle. The puff sleeves and delicate ruffles add just the right amount of whimsy, making this dress so unique and special.
As I wore this gorgeous gown, I felt like the best version of myself—radiating joy and love. Now, I hope to pass this beauty along to another bride, ready to make her own memories. Whether you’re planning a grand celebration or an intimate gathering, this dress will make you feel extraordinary on your special day.
