I fell in love with my wedding gown only to find out that it was not available in Australia and exclusive to Vera Wang New York. As I had my heart set on it, I contacted Vera Wang NYC who kindly had it made and shipped over for me for my May 2011 wedding. I am so grateful to have chosen something different for my big day that was both elegant and well suited to my petite frame. I am sorry to be parting with it however I know it is of no use to me anymore and could make someone else very happy!

The Dawn” dress is bridal couture that is both unique and beautiful! The asymmetrical neckline and bow embellishments at the shoulder & hip give grandeur to the gown. The skirt is styled with gathered tulle and silk, which displays Vera Wang’s true artistry and eye for detail. The soft ivory colour is also complimentary to all skin tones.

US Size 4 / AUS Size 6
Bust: 33.5 / 85cm (with built in cups)
Waist: 26.8 / 68cm
Hip: 35.5 / 90cm
Height: 5”2 / 157cm (worn with 10cm heels)

The gown was supplied with a grosgrain ribbon which was transformed along with the same tulle from the skirt of the gown to form the bow embellishments on both the shoulder and hip. The minor alterations created a much better balance given my short and petite frame.

If you are looking for something classic, feminine but a little less ordinary then this might be the gown for you!
It has been professionally dry cleaned & remains in excellent condition ready for it’s next bride!
