Dando London Mary Quant wedding dress.
Satin A-line with bardot neckline and ruched bodice and button detail back seam to hem. The dress also has pockets!
Wore only for a few hours on my wedding day. Has been professionally dry cleaned and is in immaculate condition. Not a single mark in sight, the dress literally looks brand new.
This dress would fit a size 12. When I had my measurements taken for the dress I measured as a size 10 at the waist and size 12 at the hips. I have a small waist but I'm actually a size 12 so the dress was taken out around an inch at the back, so I believe it could be taken back in to accommodate a size 10 also. I'm 5'5 and wore 7cm heels with the dress.
Despite the dress looking 'big', it is incredibly lightweight, in fact it was the lightest wedding dress I tried on and I tried over 30 dresses. Perfect for a warm destination wedding.
It has had the following alterations:
Train shortened.
Hem shortened.
Bardot sleeve length shortened slightly.
Discreet popper buttons added to under bardot sleeves so that sleeves can be buttoned back and dress can be worn sleeveless/ strapless.
Bustle added to train to lift and secure train if desired
Dress taken out by 1 inch around back
