About the Dress

This Ivy by Aston Bridal is a beautiful A-line gown with no design alterations—only custom sizing. I’ve included my measurements, although I also fit the standard Australian size 8 sample in-store perfectly.

The dress features a flattering halter neckline, a modern backless design, and a floor-length skirt with just enough clearance at the front to walk comfortably. It is made with two layers of nude tulle beneath a layer of white floral lace (the standard Ivy design), creating a soft, romantic look. The fabric is lightweight and breathable, with delicate 3D floral appliqués, embroidery, and subtle beading.

I matched my underwear to my skin tone, and the dress is not see-through, although you may see the outline of your legs in certain lighting, which adds to its soft, ethereal feel.

For reference, I am 163 cm tall without shoes and wore 7 cm heels on my wedding day.

I absolutely loved wearing this gown and hope it makes another bride feel just as special. It’s timeless, comfortable, and easy to move, sit, and dance in.
