Galia Lahav, Catalina

The breathtaking Galia Lahav 'Catalina' couture gown. It features intricate embroidery and lace detailing, delicate 3D floral applique with beading and a touch of shimmering sequins that makes it truly magical. The bodice is incredibly figure-enhancing and the mermaid fit with the dramatic train looks like a dream. It feels so luxurious and suprisingly light. I'm sad I only got to wear it once!

I had a couple of alterations to the dress:
The flowers taken off the straps- I have kept these and will provide them if you want to add them back on
The train shortened slightly to make it easier to move in when dancing- it is still quite long and dramatic as you can see in the photos/video
Bustle and wrist loop added so you have different options to lift the train when dancing
One layer of ivory lining - otherwise the gown is too see-through and underwear would show
Bust cups added- these are lightly sew in and can be easily removed (the inbuilt bra comes see-through as standard and needs lining or extra cups added). I am DD cup size
Straps taken in- can be readjusted to fit you
Hem shortened for my height and heels- I am 172 cm and wore a 4cm heal.

The dress has been hand washed- Galia Lahav do not recommend dry cleaning as it could damage the dress. It is in very good condition but unfortunately has sustained a few tears at the bottom near the lace detailing as shown in the photo. There are about 5 tears in total and are not very visible when worn. They can be easily rectified by a qualified seamstress or removed entirely if you need the dress shortened.
