About the Dress

A truly rare find- Danielle Frankel's Ella corset and Micah skirt, sold as a coordinated two-piece bridal look in Danielle Frankel's signature pearl fabric that glows in the light. Originally worn for my own wedding in Barcelona. The Micah skirt is currently sold out across every stockist, and both pieces are notoriously difficult to source secondhand.

Ella corset:
Strapless basque waist bodice decorated with hand cut and hand frayed bias silk wool strip fabric technique embroidery. Invisible zip closure at center back. Pearl silk wool blend.
Originally purchased in a UK 8, lightly worn (a few hours), and professionally taken in- now fits between UK 6 - 8 (adjustable inner).

Micah skirt:
Dramatic silk wool ball skirt with basque waist yoke and bubble hem detail. Invisible zip closure at center back. Pearl silk wool blend.
Originally purchased new in a UK 10, professionally taken in at the waist (now closer to UK 8) and taken up slightly at the hem.

There are some small, not hugely noticeable pulls on the insides/bottom of the hem of the skirt.

Retail on this set is significant (Ella corset alone retails at $3,990 direct from Danielle Frankel; the Micah skirt is sold out everywhere and approx $9,013), and the lead time to order new is approximately 24 weeks plus separate alterations- this set is ready to go once cleaning is complete.
