Selling my beautiful Vivienne Westwood Nova Cocotte, purchased new from MyTheresa and worn once for my wedding.

This is the soft ivory version, rather than the usual brighter white. It is less shiny, incredibly flattering and photographs beautifully.

The gown is a fluid viscose/acetate satin blend with silk lining. I tried the silk Nova Cocotte at the Vivienne Westwood showroom in Paris and actually preferred this fabric. It is lighter, softer and has much more movement and flow, while keeping the iconic Westwood silhouette.

UK size 10 (Westwood runs small). Most importantly, the dress is completely unaltered and retains its full original length. I am very tall, so nothing was shortened, giving the next owner maximum flexibility to tailor it perfectly to her measurements.

The corset has some stretch and was surprisingly comfortable all day, even through a 2.5-hour seated dinner! The draped neckline is also wonderfully versatile. I wore it fully off the shoulder, higher on the shoulders, and styled as a strapless look throughout the day, as shown in the photos.

Worn only for the church ceremony, photos and dinner, with no visible flaws or stains. Afterwards, it was professionally cleaned at La Sirène in Paris (€450) and is now in impeccable, ready-to-wear condition.

It comes in a handmade, museum-quality conservation box and I can ship within Europe.
