Moss is a made-to-measure Caroline Takvorian from her Paris atelier, and it is genuinely one of the most beautiful things I've ever put on my body.

The top is that gorgeous lace, lined in silk chiffon. The skirt is natural silk crepe that just pours off you and flares when you move. It's light as air. It feels like wearing nothing. It dances with you.

A word on the lace: Dentelle de Calais-Caudry® is a protected name, woven on 19th-century Leavers looms in France and beloved by houses like Chanel and Dior. Choosing it for the entire bodice wasn't an accident. It's the top tier of bridal lace, and you can feel it.

Originally a Caroline size 38, taken in a little at the waist for me, so it now sits beautifully on a 36/38. One other small tweak from the original: some volume was removed at the shoulders for a cleaner, more modern line.

I'm 167 cm and wore it with a 7 cm heel, so it'll be perfect on a slightly shorter bride. I had it dry cleaned the very first day after the wedding, so nothing had a chance to set. It genuinely looks like new. The skirt has a couple of tiny marks near the hem, right in the fabric, and honestly, if you're shorter than me a quick hem takes them away entirely.

I danced all night, it looked unreal in every single photo, and I lost count of how many people came up asking where it was from. This is a dress that gets noticed. It was 36°C on my wedding day and I still felt incredible in it.


Throwing in the bra pads that came out for cleaning too. I tested about 20 pairs and these are the ones.

This dress deserves a bride who's going to feel amazing in it. 🤍
