I fell in love with this dress for a reason. The silk is gorgeous, the silhouette is incredibly flattering, and it has a beautiful timeless yet modern feel.

As our wedding plans evolved, though, so did my vision. I ultimately decided to go in a less traditional direction with a dress that isn’t white or ivory and feels more authentically me. I’ve also lost a significant amount of weight since purchasing this gown, so it no longer fits as it originally did.

This is Martina Liana Style 1453 in Silk Ivory, size 10, purchased as a bridal boutique sample and never worn for a wedding. It features luxurious 100% silk, a structured strapless bodice, soft draping, front slit, and sweeping train. The detachable off the shoulder straps are not included.

It really is a gorgeous dress. It simply turned out not to be my dress.

Gorgeous 100% sandwashed silk satin wedding gown with a beautifully structured strapless bodice, soft draping, front slit and elegant sweeping train. The silk has an incredibly luxurious feel and beautiful movement without being heavy or overly formal.

Style 1453 combines a timeless Old Hollywood silhouette with a modern, understated look. The bodice is structured and supportive with soft pleating and a subtle sweetheart neckline, flowing into a flattering column/sheath skirt with a thigh high front slit.

This dress was purchased as a bridal boutique sample a month ago and has never been worn for a wedding. It is Silk Ivory and is a Martina Liana label size US 10. The original style was available with detachable off the shoulder straps; this dress is being sold strapless and the detachable straps are not included.
