About the Dress

Beautiful vintage 1995 ivory raw silk wedding gown with custom-made matching accessories and a dramatic 70" train. The gown features luminous ivory raw silk, a fitted pointed-waist bodice, deep V neckline and back, 3/4 sleeves, intricate white lace appliqué, delicate beadwork, and covered buttons down the back. The full gathered skirt extends into a dramatic train measuring approximately 70" from the waist to the end of the train and approximately 94" across at its widest point. The lace is particularly beautiful and distinctive and is repeated throughout the gown and accessories.

The complete bridal ensemble includes:
• Ivory raw silk wedding gown
• Matching crinoline/petticoat attached to the gown
• Custom-made circular headpiece featuring the same lace as the gown (5" outside diameter)
• Custom-made 35" veil attached to the headpiece (54" maximum width)
• Matching ivory gloves with coordinating lace cuffs
• Original preservation box

The headpiece was specially custom made for the gown, so it is truly a one-of-a-kind piece. The gown and accessories were professionally cleaned and preserved following the wedding and have been stored in the original preservation box. The gown was recently removed from the box for the first time since preservation. The original manufacturer/designer label is no longer present. The name "Marisa" was found on a "ribbon" attached inside the gown, but I cannot confirm whether this refers to the designer, seamstress, bridal shop, or another person, so I am not attributing the gown to a particular designer.

This would be especially lovely for a bride looking for an authentic 1990s vintage gown, a romantic/period-inspired wedding, or a unique heirloom bridal ensemble rather than a contemporary minimalist gown.
