About the Dress

Netta BenShabu’s Diana gown - an intricately beaded lace fit-and-flare gown with an incredible amount of detail and a subtle shimmer that catches the light beautifully in person. The gown has a structured corseted bodice, delicate pearl and crystal-like beading throughout the lace, a dramatic lace train, and long lace sleeves that I customized to be fully detachable, giving you two completely different looks for the ceremony and reception.

I also customized the original Diana design to create a much more timeless, couture back. The original illusion mesh was completely removed and replaced with lace, creating the low, open lace back shown in the photos. The back is finished with a beautiful row of pearl-covered buttons, while an internal corset provides structure and can be tightened for a secure, sculpted fit.

I added an additional layer of lining through the skirt so the gown is not overly sheer while still retaining the beautiful dimension of the lace and subtle shimmer underneath. Removable bra cups were also added.

I wore the gown only for my wedding ceremony and changed for the reception, so it had very limited wear. It has since been professionally cleaned and is in excellent condition with no flaws, marks or stains.

The Diana is even more beautiful in person - the photographs don't fully capture the dimension and sparkle of the hand-detailed lace.
