About the Dress

The Morrison by Sarah Seven 🤍

This dress is GORGEOUS. I have a pretty straight body type, and the structured bodice and basque waist created such a flattering silhouette. It’s one of those dresses that photographs beautifully, and if you're doing a video for your wedding, it looks so romantic!

I purchased the dress directly from the Sarah Seven flagship store in NYC, and it was kind of a hassle since I live in Boston and had to physically go to the NYC store each time to pick the dress up! I would advise getting your SS dress at a local bridal store near you, or off of this site!

For reference: I’m 5’4”, a true US size 4, and wore a 1” kitten heel. In Sarah Seven’s sizing, I wore a Size 2. The hem has been professionally altered to skim the floor when worn with my 1” kitten heels. The 12" train was an additional cost to the dress which has NOT been altered. The corset/bodice portion of the dress has NOT been altered and remains in its original form, giving you additional flexibility to alter it if you'd like.

Please note: In the last photo - my planner didn't bustle the dress correctly, it's suppose to fold in, not poke out! I was too blissfully unaware to notice : )I'm including this photo to show the length of the train when bustled.

I purchased the bridal scarf from an Etsy retailer, and it was the perfect match to the dress, as you can see in the photos. The scarf can easily be sewn shorter depending on how you’d like it to drape, and I’ll include it with the dress!

The dress has been professionally dry cleaned and is in beautiful condition. There are only a few very minor scuffs where the hem meets the floor, but otherwise, it looks brand new. It will be shipped in its dry-cleaning bag with a protective garment bag over it.
