CONDITION

This beautiful dress is in excellent condition, only worn once for my wedding in September 2016 and has since been professionally cleaned so it's ready to go! The best thing about this dress is it has had very minimal alterations. Since I'm quite tall (172cm) and wore 7cm heels on the day, I did not need the dress taken up. And the lace-up closure meant I did not need any width alterations either. The only additions I made to dress were sewn-in bra cups inside the lining (which would be cheap to remove or change if needed) and I had a simple belt made from some extra material I ordered with the dress, which was sewn on by hand (again this would be very easy to remove if desired as it was only sewn on quite lightly).

SIZE & FIT

As I mentioned above, this dress is a size 10, with no changes to the original width or length. At the time of the wedding I was 172cm tall and 66kg. In normal clothes I am about a size 10 on top, and size 12 on bottom. But the lace up back means the dress can go smaller or bigger, and allows for last minute weight fluctuations which is a bonus! This style of dress is probably one of the most universally flattering on most body shapes. It made me feel fabulous, and the corset shape made my waist look awesome! It's a shame to sell such a beautiful dress, but I'd rather someone else benefit from it for a great price! The lace is ivory, and the lining underneath is white gold, which helps to show off the beautiful vintage lace pattern. The dress is not too heavy, and was easy to move around and dance in.

ACCESSORIES

This dress comes with the choice of 2 belts (or go without a belt). As I mentioned above, I had a simple belt made out of the white gold material. But the dress also came with a sparkly belt - so you get the choice! I also had a hair clip custom made for $70, which features pearls, diamontes and lace, and it matches the dress perfectly and is in top condition. I am willing to sell this also for $30 if interested. And I also purchased a mermaid hoop skirt, which I didn't end up wearing on the day, but I am willing to throw it in for free. It helps to give the dress a more 'mermaid' shape at the bottom if desired.

LOCATION

The dress is located in Winmalee, in the Lower Blue Mountains (about 20 minutes from Penrith or Richmond). Fittings are most welcome at my home, or if you aren't too far away I might even be able to bring the dress to you to try on, particularly around the Lower Blue Mountains, Penrith or Seven Hills areas.
