About the Dress

The Begonia by Susan Neville was an absolutely stunning gown, I felt like a princess on my wedding day, elegant, feminine, with a bit of whimsy. The off the shoulder sleeves we're gorgreous, fun detailing and the corset was beautifully sculpted.

I'm a very tall bride so the A-line is on the longer side but could easily be cropped. The chiffon material also made for gorgeous movement and lightness (esp given it was 32 degrees on my wedding day and I did not overheat). The slit was also a very fun, modern touch, I especially loved that it was there but you could also hide it and you didnt necessarily see it when just standing still. It also makes the dress so easy to move, walk and dance in.

The dress was bespoke but I'm pretty exactly a UK size 12 and would be perfect for a bride looking for classic bridal elegance with a subtle fashion-forward edge. I loved wearing this dress and hope it brings the same confidence and joy to its next bride.
