A beautiful statement gown from Senstudio, the sister label of Nicole + Felicia, featuring a romantic combination of satin and airy tulle.

The gown has a drop-waist silhouette with a structured boned corset bodice, flowing into an exceptionally full, multi-layered skirt. Despite its dramatic volume and oversized train, the dress is surprisingly lightweight and comfortable to move in. The contrast between the clean satin bodice and soft, voluminous tulle gives it a timeless, elegant look with a subtle modern edge.

I visited more than a dozen bridal boutiques in Vancouver and Toronto and tried gowns ranging from approximately $2,000 to $20,000 before choosing this one. Of everything I tried, this was the gown that felt truly special to me. It photographs beautifully from every angle and has an incredible presence in person — very much a modern white-swan, princess silhouette without feeling overly heavy or ornate.

My measurements on my wedding day: 163 cm / 51 kg, 88-63-93 cm.
My measurements when I originally ordered the dress: 58 kg, 88-72-96 cm.

The back features an adjustable lace-up corset closure, which makes the sizing quite flexible. Even when tightened fully on my wedding day, there was still some room for adjustment. Based on my experience, I would estimate that it would work particularly well for someone around [removed]cm and 50–60 kg, depending on individual proportions.

Alterations
The gown has not been cut or permanently altered, preserving the original construction and length.

The skirt is extremely full but remarkably lightweight. On my wedding day, I wore it with an additional floor-length hoop skirt underneath, which helped keep the fabric away from my feet and made walking much easier. I was able to walk up and down stairs in 12 cm heels and move comfortably across grass without difficulty.

This is a wonderful choice for a bride looking for a gown that feels classic, romantic and dramatic, with an exceptionally full skirt and a beautiful silhouette both in person and in photographs.
